Samsung and Gemini’s joint efforts may help to overcome some of the roadblocks facing the global adoption of cryptocurrencies.

Samsung, the South Korean smartphone giant that has been experimenting with Bitcoin for some time, is doubling down on cryptocurrencies by signing a new partnership agreement with Gemini cryptocurrency exchange.

Samsung and Gemini cryptocurrency exchange have entered into a partnership agreement. According to the exchange’s press service, Gemini Mobile App will be the first cryptocurrency exchange application to work with Samsung blockchain-based wallet in the U.S. and Canada.

Users of Samsung devices with crypto wallet support will be able to trade cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and others. More than 4 million users in the U.S. and Canada will be able to take advantage of the new feature and sell cryptos using their smartphone.

Thanks to the integration with Gemini, many new Samsung users will have quick and easy access to digital assets that they can buy, sell, send and receive. This ease of use will remove a barrier that in the past has prevented many people from dealing with the cryptocurrency.

Moreover, even those who may not have had much interest in cryptos can gain experience from pure curiosity. Now, learning the advantages of cryptocurrencies becomes quite simple, which in turn can speed up the acceptance of digital assets on a massive scale.
